Psychosocial Rehabilitation Program
Mercy behavioral Psychosocial Rehabilitation program (PSR) is founded on the principles of assisting the consumer to develop necessary skills to live more independently and become active in their personal recovery . PSR practice is guided by the basic philosophy of rehabilitation giving people with disabilities the opportunities to identify and select for their desired roles in the community with regard to living, learning, working and participating in social activities.
We offer courtesy Transportation for our clients.
PSR support focuses on three main areas of recovery: basic living skills development, psychosocial skills training, and therapeutic socialization.
PSR is a program that takes place on a daily basis, guided by professionally qualified instructors of our center.
Skills classes offer support in acquiring basic skills crucial to mental health recovery and personal empowerment. Educational classes address topics such as building self-esteem, problem-solving, healthy boundary setting, learning about one’s diagnosis, stress reduction, increasing self-confidence, wellness and recovery & resilience.
To assist our clients in reaching their recovery goals Mercy Behavioral center provide courtesy transportation and two meals.
Monday through Friday, 9:30 am through 12:30 pm.
